One-Year Placements

This is ideal for people who have a placement year or work experience included as part of their degree. Or those who simply want to find out what our business is like. Our programme puts you in the thick of things, as you’ll join one of our business teams, and take on real responsibilities from the start.

Your placement will be within a specific department tailored to your career interests, for example Operations, HR, Buying, Marketing, IS or Pensions. We see a placement as the first step to a successful career with us. So, if you enjoy your experience and we’re impressed by the impact you make, we'll encourage you to join after graduation, either by joining our graduate scheme or by joining the department you have been working in.
